Periodontal Treatments

Our non-surgical periodontal treatment includes scaling and root planing. This therapy involves a deep cleaning of your gumline. Scaling is the portion of treatment that removes the plaque. Once the removal is completed, planing will be performed to smooth out your tooth root and allow the gum to reattach. This helps prevent bacteria from accumulating in the future.

Preventive Gum Care

Your at-home dental hygiene routine is critical in maintaining healthy gums. You should be brushing at least twice daily, flossing on a daily basis, and incorporating an oral rinse into your daily routine. In addition to your at-home care, you should be attending your professional cleanings every six months. This allows our team to properly monitor your dental health and detect any signs of gum infection early.
